What I pre-planned

• bhai

  • read theory and catch up with research
  • use device at work and capture data for testing

What new did I learn

• using the popular choice vs trying out all and then coming to popular choice has a lot of difference
  • in context to bhai and trying out all possible transcription and diarization options
• my instincts of AI are very accurate, expectations getting better
• quality of ideas which are pmf is super high as well
  • proved by the advertise to earn credits model extension
• studying seriously is actually something i missed a little
• found a really nice youtube channel ElectrArc240 with very good electronics teardowns and explainations
• virality is rewarded well in current age, even more than consistency as things move fast
  • unless you get lucky
• got to know you can manually deactivate tabs using chrome://discards

Where/How did I implement it

• fixed major memory leak issues in bhai mac app
  • starting to focus on the user experience and important fundamental features I expect myself
• supermemory became completely open source, will try it out for bhai
  • trying to get a call with dhravya but obv he is quite busy
• bhai study session
  • relearnt fourier transforms for the 6th time
  • derived discrete fourier transform using continuous FT and from scratch as well
  • understood MFCCs and Discrete Cosine Transforms and how they works and intuitively why they are necessary
  • how transformers and attention head and co exist with CNNs to make powerful LOD architecture
  • designed with AI the architecture
  • extracted and cleaned dataset, implemented the model and trained first pass with mean loss 0.3 (decent but not 0.1)

Any memorable moments of the week

• rained cats and dogs. walked back home from work on middle of road with cars stuck
• claude fable 5 was hyped, feared, launched then nuked by us gov lol
• cooked paneer capsicum sabji entirely myself in very less time and was tasty
• cooked good lunch with green chutney for sunday and made a nice milkshake sis liked
