Week 83

What I pre-planned

• meet mutuals and friends at blr
• repair the old dead tablet
• complete implementation of speaker diarization in bhai
• work
  • prepare for spotlight

What new did I learn

• best SOTA llms are just 5 week old prodigies (considering the amount of data they have trained upon)
• there are many smart people who consider their smartness to be commonsense leading to inaction
  • dumb people who take action are practically ahead of them
• double down or prestige. A nice quote to explain when I grow older

Where/How did I implement it

• was recording the demo to present early morning the next day on the night of my bday, corporate life.
• implementing optimized and good speaker diarization on running conversation
  • moving EMA, cluster centroids, embedding pipelines and occasional merging of clusters does the job
• tried codex for automating sales, turns out even reddit closed their APIs few months ago and rejected my claim to use
• also made 20 blogs for better seo of githubtimeline as I need to get it marketed more
• revived the dead acer one 7 4g tablet
  • battery was latched and undervoltage so had to jump start with charging circuit
  • power button pcb was disconnected so cleaned and attached that
  • factory reset the tablet, looking for cool ideas to use the tablet for
• wrote a really nice article that nobody read because twitter did not boost it (thrice)

Any memorable moments of the week

• met [@biraj21](https://x.com/biraj21/) at blr. he is super fun and def gmi. would be interesting to work with in future
• spotlight presentation was really good. got the vision out there.
  • also tried tucked in tshirt with belt for first
• turned 23 on the same day
  • office people celebrated
  • lots of calls and friends came over to celebrate and fun games at home
• revived the dead acer tablet by jump starting the battery and fixing the power button
