Week 67

What I pre-planned

• ai wearable
  • a lot more excitement so full focus on this
  • demand and idea validation
  • get the firmware done

What new did I learn

• saw podcasts of naveen tiwari and peyush bansal, learnt a lot
• ai wearable
  • swd debugging
  • opus codec
  • writing hardware firmware is hard because there are so many contraints, but it is as much fun
  • jlink debuggers are expensive!
• found some more awesome attractors

Where/How did I implement it

• made the entire gujju gc react with flowers and it looks beautiful 🌸
• implemented multi-threaded system for the single cored chip with semaphores and ring buffers to handle ble, audio capture, transfer and codec
• got most of the firware feasibilty ready, just a little more and i’ll have a working prototype
  • excited for the hardware part, 3d designing, software and the usecase
• learnt and made bhajiya and also fried mathitya for snacks

Any memorable moments of the week

• my bracelet broke, need to repair myself
• my fun websites were liked by the founder of tldraw
• erased entire firmware along with bootloader from chip
  • got a rpi 4 donated by ayush o7
  • flashed bootloader using some header wires as jugaad
• got a startup partner offer
• nice potluck at work, also neo launch
• got a nice post on life SIPs (12k, 177l)
• india womens team won the world cup, lfg
